Dear Judy,I know that Wally is in heaven with the "Lord." I have so many wonderful memories of Wally at Lewis and Clark College. I played left guard and he played left tackle on the L&C football team and we had more fun, blocking for the running backs and often made holes as big as a semi-truck. We also had several classes together and the one that I remember the most is "History of Art" with Dr. Himshaw. Wally and I were the only athletes in the class and many of the students were very surprised that we were taking the class. We both fell in love with the class and Wally received an A and a B for me. Wally was a very smart guy. Thanks for posting the wonderful pictures of him and the family. Judy, I know that you had many wonderful years with Wally and you can cherish those memories forever. It was a privilege to know both you and Wally and Mick Hergert told me that Wally memorial was outstanding. God Bless! Sincerely, George Held No. 64
