Susan Jeanette Jacobsen's Obituary
Susan Janette Jacobsen died October 24th, 2024, in Portland, Oregon at the age of 69 from brain cancer. She was a beloved mother, cherished sister, and wonderful teacher. She was born to Jack and Ruth Jacobsen on February 4th, 1955, in Houston, Texas. She moved with her family to Portland, Oregon and graduated from Marshall High School. A deeply creative person, she loved doing crafts with her son’s cub scout pack, creating art with her preschool students, home decorating, and gardening. She was a lifelong pet owner, and loved many dogs, cats, and birds in her life. She is survived by her son, Owen, and her sisters Marj, Barb, and Jo. You are welcome to bring flowers or donate to her favorite charity, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
