I miss Sterling for so many reasons. Our shared history included moments and days of deep discussion and plenty of shallow ones as well. From pitched battles over politics and agreement over values and principles we covered it all. We spent countless times over 40 years enjoying each other’s company, the company of our families and doing some of the things we loved together. But if I miss anything the most, its laughing together, endlessly entertaining ourselves and each other… and sharing that sort of joy. He never stopped letting me know how much he cared about me and those we love, that was a constant. So my friend, I will miss you and will cherish the memories that I have, some shared with the those around us, so many now reside just with me. Love you mate.
