Skylar Lewis Mitchell's Obituary
Skylar Lewis Mitchell, 25, of Portland, OR. died May 17, 2022. He was born September 30th, 1996, in Oregon City, OR. He attended David Douglas High School and graduated in 2014, where he was active in Football and Wrestling.
Skylar enjoyed making people laugh and had an amazing and quick-witted sense of humor. He loved playing video games, photography and was very artistic with a creative mind. In his younger years, Skylar was an avid skateboarder and enjoyed snowboarding. He enjoyed studying all forms of science and keeping up on world events. He loved his family, pets (Leona and Ducky), and was a proud uncle to his niece and nephew. We will forever miss his infectious smile and loving heart. Skylar‘s early passing is a tragic loss that will be felt by his family and friends that will love him always.
Skylar is survived by his mother, Adele Mitchell, father, Alex Mitchell, and his brother Preston (Fiancé Dilara) and niece Talia Grace Mitchell. He is also survived by his grandma, Michelle Keith of Oregon City OR. As well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Papa Jack Keith, Grandpa Dave & Grandma Sandra Mitchell, and Stepmother Sara Mitchell.
A viewing of Skylar will be at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral home in Oregon City, Thursday May 26th from 9am-2pm. The grave side service will be held at Redland Cemetery at 3pm. An escorted procession will leave Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral home at 2:30pm.
