Sharon was born to Bob and Veda Hiner who preceded her in death. Born in Boise, Idaho, she was raised in Gladstone and attended schools at Gladstone and West Linn.Sharon was married to Jimmy Newton Nov. 5, 1959, who passed away in 1989. She was a sister to Bobby Hiner, who passed away in 1996.Survivors are her children, Robert Newton of Hillsboro, Alisha Bolt of Happy Valley and Jady Newton of York, Maine; seven cherished grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Lazar of Sacramento, Calif.Sharon passed away of cancer at her home. She was loved and will be missed. She loved the Lord, her family and friends.A service will be held at 1:00PM, Monday July 7, 2014 at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Home.
