I first met Sharon when she was seven years old and we were in a little school play.She was hesitant to go on stage so I told her to hold my hand. She did and we each got through our little parts together. Her character, values and life constitute a model of care for others and her faithmade her a gentle person with a core of strength. Her sweet and friendly natureimbued her treatment of others with a genuine love.I remember her smile, which seemed to light up her eyes, as constant and quickto appear. Her voice was soft, cheerful, comforting and her demeanor gave a boost to everyone.From the first time, almost seventy years ago, to the last opportunity to talk with Sharon,she was constant in her good cheer, sincere attention to others, and unfailing warmthemanating from her heart, her soul, and her faith.

Everyone who ever met Sharon, even once, was instantly touched by her smile, laughter, and sense of humor. Hell, I even saw her on my honeymoon with Mary 43 years ago and endured her teasing, telling us to go ahead to our hotel, but be back in time for dinner! She'd meet us at the Oregon coast with her box of ding-dongs, an ongoing joke. We were on each other's "A" list of cousins, keeping in touch through the years and bonded by family, but also friendship. Our phone conversations were a minimum of 2 hours-1 if a down day. Our last time together in Vegas a year ago was so much fun. She always said Jimmy was the artist in the family, but she was an artist in her own right and taught me a lot. We painted for hours and I taught her technique to my granddaughter, Michaela. Sharon loved talking about family history and connections. She lived by the phrase "Live, Laugh, Love".She really knew how to love. I hope Rob, Alisha, and Jady knew how much they were her world, because they were. I sure will miss you, Sharon......Jay
