I first met Sharon when she was seven years old and we were in a little school play. She was hesitant to go on stage so I told her to hold my hand. She did and we each got through our little parts together. Her character, values and life constitute a model of care for others and her faithmade her a gentle person with a core of strength. Her sweet and friendly natureimbued her treatment of others with a genuine love.I remember her smile, which seemed to light up her eyes, as constant and quickto appear. Her voice was soft, cheerful, comforting and her demeanor gave a boost to everyone. From the first time, almost seventy years ago, to the last opportunity to talk with Sharon, she was constant in her good cheer, sincere attention to others, and unfailing warmthemanating from her heart, her soul, and her faith.
