Michael Craig Johnson Jr.'s Obituary
Michael Craig Johnson Jr., 50, of Oregon City, OR, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Born in Summit, New Jersey, on March 16, 1974, Mike was a devoted father, loving husband, and cherished friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Alison, and their daughter, Bria. He also leaves behind his daughter, Bella, from his previous marriage to Jayme, as well as his sister Shannon and her five children, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Mike built a fulfilling career as an IT Systems Administrator with U.S. Bank, where he worked for nearly 18 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Carolina University and was admired for his dedication, kindness, and calm presence.
A passionate Clemson football fan, Mike never missed a chance to cheer on the Tigers. He especially loved summers on the water, where he found joy swimming and paddle boarding with his girls.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Ainsworth House and Gardens. All who knew and loved him are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Mike’s memory may consider contributing to Bria’s college savings account or Bella's savings account—continuing his legacy by investing in the future of those he loved most.
