Had a wonderful day yesterday with family celebrating the life Gloria C. Sizemore. She had a unique talent for always seeing that silver lining on the darkest of clouds. I will miss her but will also remember her with very fond, loving memories. Our potlucks will never be the same, everyone always wondered “what is Gloria fixing” as she was one of the BEST cooks EVER. Fly with the Angels, Gloria. I love you forever. Linda and Doug.
Always loved seeing and chatting with Gloria at the MANY performances in Estacada. So sweet and sassy with her peekaboo purple, blue streaks in her hair. Always happy to see everyone. Sending love to all of you.
Whenever I hear the word "knob" I remember Gloria. At Sandlake, the sand dune knob overlooks the beach. A perfect place to watch the sun go down and make that cellphone call from one of the very limited places where you could get a connection in that section of the Oregon coast. The other knob is a level area created by a tangle of roots along the shore of Bull Prairie. This was Gloria's spot to fish, and she usually caught them, even if the rest of us were skunked. She had a life well-lived.
