Carlos Alexander Moreno, 57, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. Born on April 6, 1968, in San Francisco, California, Carlos was a devoted son, loving husband, deeply caring stepfather, and an extremely loved brother. His warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Carlos was the beloved husband of Rhonda Pierce Moreno and a dedicated stepfather to Cameron and Amanda Kahangi. He took great pride in his family, always putting their needs before his own and offering unwavering support and love.
Passionate about fashion, Carlos was known for his impeccable style and eye-catching shoes. His flair and elegance drew compliments from strangers and admiration from friends—he made an impression wherever he went. More than his fashion sense, it was his kindness, patience, and attentive nature that truly defined him.
Carlos is survived by his loving wife Rhonda; stepchildren Cameron and Amanda; his parents, Carlos and Gladys Moreno; his sisters Mayra Victoria, Marlene Norris (and her husband Rhett Norris), and Lisa Moreno; and his treasured nieces Katie Norris-Horn (and her husband Woody Horn) and Kelsey Norris.
Carlos’s sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. He was a bright light, whose presence brought joy and comfort. He will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud in Oregon City, Oregon (www.waudsfuneralservice.com). Burial will follow at Oswego Pioneer Cemetery in Lake Oswego. A reception will follow, with the location to be announced at the service.
