William Joseph Sheridan's Obituary
William Joseph Sheridan, Sr. (Bill), 81, passed away on May 9th surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Portland Oregon on October 26, 1937.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Frances, his parents Lucille and Thomas Sheridan, and his brother Michael.
Bill is survived by his seven children, William Jr., Jim, Tim, Joanne, Ann, Marianne, Suzanne, 5 grandkids, and his sister, Colleen Shockman.
Bill enjoyed golf, watching The Price Is Right, cooking the best lamb of this side of the Mississippi, and family time. He was also actively involved in his local church.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 3:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7425 SE Cesar Chavez Blvd, Portland, OR. The rosary will be prior to the funeral service at 2:30pm. Visitation will be held at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Home, 715 7th St, Oregon City, OR on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Burial to take place on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10:00am at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 333 SW Skyline Blvd, Portland, OR.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Association. The family of Bill Sheridan wishes to thank Legacy Hospice for their superior care.
