William Dean Hocks
August 25, 1930 - November 19, 2017
William (Bill) was born in Portland, Oregon to William John and Marjorie Elizabeth (Damon) Hocks.
Bill graduated from Milwaukie High School, and then served in, and retired from the United States Air Force. Bill loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, & boating. He enjoyed his family & friends, and many adventures during his lifetime living in Oregon, Alaska, Colorado, South Carolina, & Alabama. He enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife, Barbara.
Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Dean (Montgomery) Hocks; daughter, Kimberly Dean (Hocks) Gach (Mark); granddaughter, Karlie (Gach) Cohagan (Nathan); great-grandsons, Jackson & Tyler; sister, Marilyn (Hocks) Karr; and six nieces & nephews.
Bill's final resting place will be inurnment at Willamette National Cemetery. A graveside service will be held for family and friends on November 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A special thanks to the staff at Hospice Care of the Northwest for their care and devotion.
