William "Bill" Arthur Crandell's Obituary
William "Bill" Arthur Crandell, (4/12/49 – 5/16/24) passed away peacefully at home in Oregon City, Oregon.
Bill was a loving husband and father, and kind-hearted, loyal Christian man who adored his family and everyone he met. He served in the United States Air Force for 7 years as a crew chief for aircraft maintenance. After his military service, he pursued a career as a machinist, security officer, and long-haul truck driver.
Bill was a dedicated member of Sandy Church of Christ, where he found solace and community. He loved spending time landscaping with his wife, traveling, and engaging in activities with his family.
He is survived by Becky, his loving wife of 56 years, Leesa and Becky (daughters), Bill (son), 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by William D. Crandell (father), Vernece (mother), Melvin (brother), and Debbie (sister).
A military graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery for family only. Details for the service will be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the ALS Foundation.
