Wesley Ellis Belieu's Obituary
Wes was born January 20, 1927 to John Virgil Belieu and Melvina (Anderson) Belieu, at Frog Pond (Wilsonville), Oregon. He attended West Linn High School. And, served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Wesley worked a full career with the Portland Fire Bureau and for his high school friend Olin Pepper.
Wes created and left a wonderful legacy that will be truly missed and remembered for a very long time. Wes was an incredible father, grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather. Wes was the best father on this earth that anyone could be blessed to have. Wes taught us how to be respectful, show grace and kindness and still let us know when it was time to be responsible for our selves.
Wes loved to research local history and fish the lakes and streams of eastern Oregon. Wes and Bobbie wintered in Yuma, Arizona for several years. They always returned to their home in West Linn or Canby, Oregon.
Wes is survived by his children, Terrence "Terry", Tracy and Melinda and step children, Bob, Gary, Sharon and Cathy and grand children, great grand children and great grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor "Bobbie" (Nor) Belieu, his son Robin, his parents, bothers and sisters.
