Wayne Arthur Martin's Obituary
Wayne A. Martin Wayne A. Martin passed on April 8. 2013 at the age of 97. He was born on April 6, 1916 in Ely. Minn. to Charles Martin and Techa E.Guystason Martin. Wayne served 11 years in the Navy as a coreman and a pharmacist during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He received a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors of Science in pharmacy from the University of Colorado. He also has an honorary Doctorate in Letters from a seminary. He lived from 1954 to 2012 in Longview Wash. In 1960 he married Gladys Smith. She passed Sept. 6, 1989. He lived in Milwaukie after. Survived by stepdaughter, June R.Williams: step-grandsons. Kevin Williams, John Williams and David Williams; stepgranddaughter, Katherine Grimes; nephews Dale Martin and Bruce Chase; and numerous step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Interment at Hudson Memorial Cemetery on April 16 at 1PM.
