Verna Louise Rosenthal's Obituary
Verna Louise Rosenthal, of Woodburn, was born on May 30th, 1939 in Tillamook, Oregon and passed away on February 14th, 2016 in Portland, Oregon. Verna dedicated her life to raising not only her own children but also fostered and adopted children as well. She impacted many young lives and was passionate about family. Verna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Verna enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and motorcycle rides with her husband, William. She was an avid shopper and was always on the search for a great deal. She loved going out and watching her husband sing karaoke which he always dedicated to her.
Verna is survived by her husband William Rosenthal of 19 years, 13 children, 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Verna passed away peacefully at Providence Portland Medical Center surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered as a vibrant soul that was passionate about her family and friends.
The Funeral will be at St. Patrick's Church at 11:00 am February 20th (498 NW 9th Ave, Canby Oregon). Visitation will be on Friday, February 19th from 1pm to 4pm at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud.
