Timothy John Henderson's Obituary
Timothy John Henderson was born February 23, 1952 in Portland, Oregon to Lester V. and Sarah (Haak) Henderson. He passed away in Portland on October 1, 2019 after a long illness.
Tim was the seventh of nine children and grew up in Parkrose. He married Laura Fisher in 1975 and moved to Oregon City. He was the proud father of Lindsay and Tom. Tim worked as a plumber for 38 years, was a lifelong fishing and hunting enthusiast, and was happiest in the great outdoors, particularly at the ranch of his friends, the Campbell family, in Lonerock, Oregon. Tim was an avid supporter of Oregon City High School sports, particularly the baseball team. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his older brothers Roger, Les, and David, and his older sisters Patricia and Mary, and his cat and dog, Daisy and Duke.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Laura, and children, Lindsay and Tom; sisters Regina, Susan, and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Friday, October 4th, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Legacy Oregon Burn Center.
