Thomas Corbin Lewis was born in a holler in Tazewell, Virginia on April 25, 1933. He served in the army for 2 years during the Korean War (after fibbing about his age) and was stationed in Japan. After discharge from the Army, Tom enjoyed building/racing cars and boats, hunting, and fishing. Tom did several jobs before venturing into auto body repair. He owned a few shops and eventually settled in Oregon City, Oregon. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family most though, whether traveling, camping, fishing, or just gathering at home. He was a consummate joker and there was never a dull moment while around him. He was brutally honest, but never met a stranger. His personality was contagious and he was loved by all that were fortunate enough to have known him. Tom will be sorely missed but never forgotten! If you were lucky enough to have met and known Tom, your life has surely been changed forever! Look out St. Peter, the "Legend" is on his way!
A private celebration of life will be held at the family home on September 17, 2016 @ 2:00 p.m.
