Thomas Harney
July 14, 1932 - Aug. 30, 2017
Tom passed away peacefully Aug. 30, 2017, with his family at his side.
He grew up in Portland, graduated from Washington High School and the University of Oregon in 1957. He was an insurance broker for Fred S. James and loved traveling, wine and the Oregon Ducks.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Janet; children, David, Bob and Sue and their spouses; and five grandchildren. He is resting in peace and will be missed by all.
Services will be at Noon, Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Oak Hills Presbyterian Church. In his honor, no ties will be worn.
Donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Portland Police Sunshine Division.
