Teresa Marie Ramsey's Obituary
Teresa Marie Bates Ramsey passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024 at Providence Portland Medical Center. Her loving and devoted husband was at her side.
Teresa was born on May 16, 1968 in Portland, Oregon to Stanley Gene Bates and Judith Louise Haag Bates. She grew up in Milwaukie, Oregon and attended Ardenwald Elementary School, Milwaukie Junior High School, Milwaukie High School, and Rex Putnam High School.
After a career working with disabled adults and children, Teresa’s health forced an early retirement. Although her health presented challenges, it did not stop her from being an amazing and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, David Ramsey, her sons Brandon Rouillard (Arianna) and Mason Ramsey, her daughter Amanda Rouillard Erb (Logan), her sister Melissa Bates England, her grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many others who were lucky enough to call her a friend.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2:00pm with a potluck reception to follow. Flowers and donations towards final expenses are welcome.
