Susan Diane Biswell's Obituary
Our beloved mother Susan Diane Biswell passed away Saturday May 25th 2024 at her home in Canby Or. Surrounded by her children Nathaniel and Derek Siri , after her hard difficult battle with pancreas cancer. She fought till the end but it just became too much for her. Sue was born on Nov. 5th 1960 in Danbury Connecticut and was only 64 when she passed.
She grew up moving around with her mom and dad until she went to high school in oregon city where she met my dad Gary Siri and started her family. She got married and became a Siri and started working on our family produce farm for half her life. She ran a crew of high school kids in the summer bunching radishes and green onions. In the winter she would help run the peekin pumpkin patch at our farm and would dress up as a witch and take groups of young kids thru the pumpkin patch to pick there pumpkins. She created all the dummy and loved to paint the faces on the pumpkins we would use for the dummies heads. She also would paint faces on the little pumpkins with her son Nathaniel and they would sell them in our little store.
She had two boys and raised them with all the love, care, support, and devotion she could give. She was a pta mom and always apart of her sons schools and sports. She tried to never miss a game, practice, or try out ever. .She was our biggest cheerleader and greatest fan and always encouraged us to do our best and to never give up cause she always believed we could do anything we put our minds too. She also became are cub scouts den leader for years and helped us earn our own badges too..
After her kids grew up she got remarried to james and became a Biswell. She then started her medical work career in medical records. She was always so proud of her job. She also helped raise two daughters Emily and Madeline along with her two boys. Then she was on her own again and started all over and was finally able to own her own house in canby. She was looking forward to making repairs and fixing it up to make it hers when she was diagnosed with stage 4, pancreatic cancer and cancer in her lower intestines. Then began her short difficult battle and was taken away so quickly and unexpectedly. She just lost her mother not that long ago and lost her ex husband and father before that. Hopefully they're all at peace together in the heavens and out of pain, all happy and feeling good.
She is survived by her two sons Nathaniel and Derek Siri, her ex husband Gary Siri, her two step daughters Emily and Madeline. Her many brothers and sisters, Steve, Jon, Elaine, and Linda., her step dad Doug Hadley, her ex inlaws Florence and Jack Siri, her many nieces and nephews, and one grandchild Aubre Siri, and her numerous friends that where always there for her.
She loved to garden, work on her yard, go on trips, be in the woods camping and fishing. She loved to show up unannounced at her kids house just to be there in their lives. She liked to go to fairs, conventions, and shows. She liked to get out of the house and have a fun enjoyable time. She loved to spend time with her kids, and do new things. She would stop and help anybody that needed it without even being asked. She was a happy, caring, loving person who her family meant everything and she just loved to watch us grow and wanted to help us succeed in life. Hopefully she is at peace and out of pain up in heaven with her mom, dad, and Jimmy, watching down on all of us still helping us when she can, be better people.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony planned for a later date. We will try to let everyone know where and when.. thank you to everyone that was a part of my mom's life over the years and hopefully she touched yours...
