Stanley Carol Kennedy's Obituary
Stanley Carol Kennedy passed away peacefully at his home on January 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Born in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada on December 18, 1929 to Alice and Arthur Kennedy, Stan had 4 older siblings and 3 older half sisters that preceded him in passing. He was preceded by his wife of 53 years, Beth Irene Kennedy, and is survived by two adopted children, Karen Rouse and Stanley M Kennedy and two step children, Larry Goldade and Lori Smith and has several grand and great grandchildren.
In 1950 Stan founded a Portland, Oregon janitorial company called Kennedy Cleaning. He excelled at seizing opportunities which allowed him to grow the business into one of the most well known property damage restoration companies in the Portland Metro Area, Kennedy Restoration.
He was very devoted to his whole family and his business. He also had a very soft spot in his heart for dogs and took in many rescued canines over the years. His boisterous laugh, charming smile and generosity will be missed greatly.
He is laid to rest next to his wife Beth and his grandson Cody at Crescent Grove Cemetery & Mausoleum in Tigard, Oregon
