Sharon Kay Ellis, age 70, passed away in her Oregon City home on Monday, September 2nd, 2024. Sharon was born in Oregon City and lived there her entire life so she could stay close to her family. Sharon’s parents, Edison and Lois Miles had three daughters, Linda, Sharon, and Sandra; Sharon was the middle child. Sharon was close to her younger sister, Sandra, who she shared a room with when she was growing up. From an early age, Sharon loved animals and always had at least one or two dogs in her family home. They were married until his passing in 2020. Sharon took a job as a Clerk in the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Domestic Violence Center where she could put her love and concern for humanity into her work. Previous to her work with the CCSO, she worked for the North Clackamas Aquatic Park. Sharon enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and vacationing at the beach with Randy and their dogs. She is survived by her mother Lois, her sister Linda, and her two dogs; Abby and Ziva who now live with her nephew, Adam Boeckman and his wife, Melissa.
A private burial will be held for the family at Mountain View Cemetery on Saturday September 14th. Family will greet friends at Holman-Hankins-Bowker and Waud Funeral Service on Saturday September 14th at 10:30am for an 11am memorial service.
