Sally Anne Martin
December 11, 1952 – December 16, 2024
Sally Anne Martin was born in Portland, Ore. Her parents were Russel Martin and Marjorie Wooton Martin. Sally grew up in East Portland and graduated from Gresham High School in 1971. Sally graduated from the Emanuel School of Nursing in 1974. Sally began her career in nursing at Emanuel Hospital where she worked for many years. Sally then moved to the Kaiser Hospital system where she worked until her retirement. During her years at Kaiser, Sally also attended Portland State University where she completed a bachelor’s degree in biology.
Sally was highly creative and had many artistic hobbies. Sally had a life-long love of animals and always had several pets. Sally was interested in environmental issues and was devoted to conservation organizations.
Sally is survived by her brothers and wives, Russel Martin and Beverly Martin, Rodger Martin and Vickie Martin, Ron and Terese Martin. Sally had nine nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Sally had many cousins and treasured her memories of growing up with her extended family.
