Sally A Marquez's Obituary
Sally A. Mahan was born June 14, 1933 in Portland Oregon, the daughter of Finley and Julia (Swails) Mahan. She attended Franklin High School and Linfield College. She married Ronald L. Drennan and had two children, Timothy and Laurie. They later divorced. Sally worked for 30 years as a legal secretary for the US Department of Agriculture, Forestry Division. She later wed Del R. Marquez and they were happily married until his death in 1999. They enjoyed traveling, especially cruising all over the World. They were very involved with the Oregon City Elks where Sally served as the President of the Women's Auxiliary. Sally is survived by her son, Tim Drennan (Anne), daughter Laurie Souders (Steve), brothers Thomas Mahan (Marilyn) and Gerald Mahan (Sally), grandchildren Mike and Kate Drennan and Dan Kuhn, and great granddaughter Ashlyn Drennan, as well as many extended family and friends. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 8th at 1:45pm at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery Park 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Following the service a celebration of Life will be held at the Oregon City Elks Lodge, 610 McLoughlin Blvd, Oregon City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks Children's Eye Clinic.
