Ruth Ernastine Hopp's Obituary
Ruth Ernastine (Bietschek) Hopp was born on June 1, 1921 in Macksburg, Oregon. Baptized at the Macksburg Lutheran Church and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Oregon City. Ruth passed away on June 3, 2022 and will be buried next to her husband Karl at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City. She was a charter member of the West Linn Lutheran Church.
Ruth is survived by grandson's: Gary, David, and Jeff Winkelman. Great-grandchildren Jake, Eli, Seth, Cora Ruth, and sister Eleanor Zieg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Karl Hopp, son Gary Winkelman, mother Ernastine Bietschek, father Julius Bietschek, sisters Elise, Sally, and Mae, brothers Arthur, Fred, and Edwin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at West Linn Lutheran Church on June 17, 2022.
