Ruth Agnes Eisele's Obituary
Ruth EiseleOctober 10, 1923 - July 13, 2014 Ruth Eisele, a long-time resident of the Lake Oswego and West Linn area, died Sunday the 13th of July at the age of 90. Born in 1923, in Gervais, Oregon, to Lawrence and Genevieve Grassman. She later met and married the love of her life, the late Marion Eisele. Ruth and Marion were married 63 years and spent countless hours together at the beach fishing and enjoying their family. When Marion retired, Ruth also retired from Gage Industries in Lake Oswego.Ruth was a beloved member of the community and could frequently be found cooking for others and caring for anyone in need. Ruth loved to work with her hands. She loved to garden, sew and create beautiful things that brought a warm smile to others. Ruth also enjoyed playing cards and a good game of Bingo at the Elks with friends.Ruth is survived by 4 sons and their families: Gary Eisele, grandson Chris (Anne), great grandchildren Anika and Hunter; Dennis Eisele (Jeanne), grandson Matt (Jenny), and great grandson Braden, grandson Nate (Gina); Doug Eisele (Mary Jane), grand-daughter Krystal (Will), great grandson Trace; and Ken Eisele (Julie), and grand-daughter Sophie. Ruth lost a fifth son John Eisele, at birth. Ruth's family was very dear to her. They will miss her greatly.The Rosary will be held at St. Johns Apostle Church in Oregon City on Friday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m. The funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the funeral.
