Just saw this obituary on Ron. I worked with him at St. Vincent. Was an excellent leader and person. May he rest in peace.
Ron was a mentor to me early in my career in hospital development when he was at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Beaverton, OR. Following a 30 year career I will always remember his guidance and advice early in my career. Randy Petty
Ron was instrumental in the formation of our Blue Heron Foundation At Willamette View as one of our "founders". He was a friend and mentor and left behind an amazing legacy. Ron told me that "philanthropy is a sense of ownership, belonging and making things happen." He definitely knew how to make things happen. Ron will be missed.
