Robert Loris Randall's Obituary
Robert Loris "Bob" Randall died peacefully Saturday, August 8 with his wife Rita at his side. Bob was born in Boise, Idaho June 5, 1926 to Earl Maier and Pauline Millard. At an early age he was adopted by Robert Randall. His early years were spending living in Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and California. Once his family moved to Oregon he said he had found his forever home.
Bob graduated from Oregon City High School in 1945 and was immediately drafted into the Army as World War 11 was coming to a close. He served as part of the army of occupation in Germany until 1947, reaching the rank of Sargent. Returning home he was employed by Crown Zellerbach in the paper making industry until his retirement in 1985.
He married Patricia Dunmire in 1952. They had five children, Richard (Kathy), Sheryl, Julie (Russ), James and Robert as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob's stepchildren are Jeff, Janine and Casey. He is also survived by Sister Judy Bassett (James).
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 18 at 10:30 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City. The family wishes to offer profound thanks to the entire staff at Tanner Spring Memory Case unit for their loving care of Bob during the last two years. Our thanks also to Hospice Northwest.
