Robert MacLaren's Obituary
On November 2nd, 2016 we say goodbye to Robert MacLaren. Robert was born August 16th 1928, he passed away at the age of 88 years old. He was loved by many, friend, father, husband and mentor to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Janet M. MacLaren, his 3 sons Bobby, Rick, David and only daughter Debbie. He is also survived by his sister Ernestine Hughson, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, Sister & Brother in law Harriett & John Rozanski.
Robert worked at Clackamas Auto Parts prior to working at the Post Office for 30 years. He was a man with a mission to support his family, stay busy and loved to help when he could. He also coaced the Oregon City girls softball and boys little league. He loved sports and teaching his children and grandchildren how to play all sports along with chess. His all time favorite team was the Boston Celtic and he was an Atlanta Braves fan. Robert was well known in his community. He will be missed by his community and friends. Most of all he will be missed by his family.
