Regina Thurow
June 26, 1954-December 13, 2023
Regina was born on June 26, 1954, in Neukirchen Vluyn, Germany, the oldest of two daughters, to the parents of Erwin and Margarete Thurow. In 1961, her parents immigrated to Southern California where she spent most of her life. Regina persevered many hardships in her life, including having had polio at the age of two. She had a strong will and made a life for herself and touched many lives along the way. Twenty-two years ago, she met her husband to be, Martin, and they married after many years together in 2016. It was that year they moved to Oregon City, Oregon where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a gentle and kind person who had a great love for nature, writing poetry, books, Native American culture, crafts and had a deep love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Martin, her father, Erwin and her sister and brother-in-law, Sabine and Michael. She is now in the arms of her mother, Margarete, who passed away in June.
She will be greatly missed.
