Paul Edwin Patterson's Obituary
Paul, a resident of Wilsonville, Oregon passed in Portland, Oregon on June 10, 2012. Paul was born in Hugo, Oklahoma to Gertie Mae (Melton) and Thomas Leland Patterson. He was raised in Huntington Park, California where he graduated high school in 1940. Shortly after high school, Paul entered the US Navy to serve in the Pacific Theater. Following service to his country, Paul earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. Putting his degree to work with Mobil Oil Corporation, he eventually retired in 1984. Paul then enjoyed his RV traveling.Paul is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Lorraine (Van Orden) Patterson (6/21/2007). He is survived by sons Ralph Patterson (Nancy) of Upland, CA and Robert E (Leyla U) of Tigard, Oregon, grandsons Douglas S and Steve Patterson of Chino and Upland, California respectively, and Granddaughter Rachelle Fowlds or Pismo Beach, California.
