Patrcia Ann Womack's Obituary
Patricia Ann Womack, born Patricia Ann Cooper In Omaha, Nebraska on December 4, 1929 to Levi and Elanor Cooper. She was the eldest of 7 children Mary (Deceased) Dick (Deceased) Sally, Bob (Deceased), Linda (Deceased) and Ronny (Deceased shortly after Patricia's death.) Patricia passed away on May22, 2020.
Patricia married young at the age of 19, in May of 1948. She and Morris Womack wed and were married for 59 years. Morris passed away in October of 2006. They had 3 children, Sandra the eldest daughter and mother to grandchildren, Lisa Kay, Kerri Ann, and Brian Dale. Pamela, the middle child and mother to grandchildren Jered Lee and Jenny Kristine. Jeffrey the youngest and father to grandchildren Jordan Neal and Shannon Ray. Morris and Patricia also took in their nephew John when he was around the age of 12 and raised him.
At the time of Patricia's passing the fruits of her life and the life she made with Morris resulted in 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
She and Morris provided idyllic summers for their family, living on several acres out in the country. There was a swimming pool, badminton, croquet, racing old riding lawn mowers, huge gardens, and orchards. All the things that make long lasting memories cherished by all of us that have lost them.
Patricia was a mother and a grandmother but to her grandchildren she was also a soft spot to land, a confidant, a true, true friend. Always willing to listen and ready to give advice.
The loss of her is felt far and wide. She was a favorite aunt to many of her nieces and nephews and they share in the sadness.
Patricia is in a better place now. Likely yelling at Morris and kicking her feet up with a good Gin and tonic. The end of her life had little quality due to the ravaging effects of Alzheimer's disease so her family rests comfortably knowing she is where she should be and that we will see her again.
Rest in peace Mom, Grandma Lou, Aunt Pat.
