Pamela Faye Laird's Obituary
Pamela Faye Laird, 71, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away at her home on March 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family on one of this year’s first beautiful spring days, due to complications from Alpha 1. Her spirit, a beacon of love and strength, continues to inspire all who knew her.
Born to Laurence Victor Nichols and Virginia Rose Hemphill on March 12, 1952, Pamela’s lifelong residence in the Oregon City - Molalla area was a testament to her love for her community, marked by passion, creativity, and an unwavering devotion to family. Her career at Kaiser Permanente as a dietitian aide reflected her caring nature and commitment to helping others.
1973 marked the beginning of Pamela and Kenneth Laird’s lifelong love story, enriched by their daughters, Jacquie (Gavin) Hinze and Jennifer (Brian) Ashman. Retirement brought Pamela joy through camping, beading, quilting, and cherished moments with her family.
Pamela’s memory is honored by her husband, Kenneth; sisters, Rosalie (Leroy) Larson and Suzanne (Don) Wittenburg; daughters; grandchildren, Wyatt (Daniel), Cody, Levi, Sara, and Seth; and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Victor (Peggy) Nichols.
