Opal was one of 12 children born to Henry & Nettie Marsh. Growing up she lived in Arizona & Colorado, with the family ending up in Idaho, where she graduated from Payette High School. She married Lester Evans in 1954, and they had 4 children â?? Debra Robertson (James), Valerie Pate (Kevin), Thomas Evans (Jammie), and Margaret Morton (Jeff), and she also has 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Murphy, and her brother Bob Marsh (Nancy), and many nieces & nephews.
Opal lived with her second husband Jim for many happy years on the Oregon Coast. She worked in both retail sales and as Office Manager at the Sea Gypsy Hotel in Lincoln City, OR. She moved to Wilsonville, OR to be closer to her family. She enjoyed time spent with her friends at her apartment building, and often could be found doing puzzles in their great room. She also enjoyed spending time with her family shopping and doing puzzles.
There will be no funeral services, but in lieu of flowers or donations, if you have the opportunity, spend time with the ones you love at the coast â?? her favorite place.
