Norma Lucille Cleghorn's Obituary
Norma Lucille (Hallett) Cleghorn passed away March 22, 2016 in Willamette Falls Hospital from complications of a stroke. She was 93 years old. Born November 5, 1922 in Davenport, WA to Charles Frank and Lulu Belle Hallett. She was the 10th of 11 children. Six sisters and five brothers.
She was raised in Kettle Falls, WA, attended Kettle Falls High School and graduated in 1940 - Valedictorian of her class.
She married Frank Cleghorn in 1941 and moved to Nespelem, WA. Frank passed away in 1989. In 1950, she moved to Southern California and worked for Bellflower School District. She retired in 1980 and moved to Clackamas, OR. The last 22 years she lived with Jack and Elaine on their property in Oregon City.
She is survived by a daughter Sharon Duff, son Jack Cleghorn (Elaine), grandsons Craig Cleghorn (Kelly), and Mark Duff. Step great grandchildren Justin and Amy.
Services will be held April 5th at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church in Milwaukie, OR. Memorial donations in behalf of Norma can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
