Neil S. Ball passed away at the age of 72, on June 23, 2015. He resided in Gladstone, OR.
Neil was born in Oregon City, Ore on November 23, 1942. He was raised in Willamette, Ore. Neil graduated from West Linn High School, Class of 1961.
Seven days after graduating, Neil joined the United States Air Force, Served four years and was honorably discharged.
Neil worked at Publishers Paper Mill for 17 years. During that time, He met and married Marilyn Maple. They were married forty seven years. He then went to work for 7-11, in Robinwood, until his retirement. Neil was well-liked by all.
Neil was an avid sports fan, enjoying Baseball, Football, and Basketball games, until the end. Trailblazer games were never missed. He loved to go fishing and camping, where he would look for rocks, collecting them for future projects.
Neil is survived by Marilyn, his wife, Jeff, his son, three granddaughters, and three great grand daughters and many family members and friends.
Neil requested a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to wounded warriors foundation or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
