Tommy Russell
Nate and I attended Police Basic Sniper School together in Bend, Oregon in October of 2007. I think he worked for Canby PD at the time. I lost touch with him and recently ran across his number in my phone so I requested to be his friend on FB, IG and LinkedIn. I noticed he hadn't posted since 2017 so I did a Google search and found this memorial. It makes me sad to learn of his passing. He was a really good dude that I was hoping to reconnect with. Cancer sucks. I lost my mom to cancer last year. I wish his family and friends the best. I found this photo of our sniper class that I hope someone will enjoy. Nate is the bottom left, kneeling. I'm the only one in the middle of the front and back row, also kneeling. Thank you for you service to mankind, brother. Rest easy. You may be gone but I have not forgotten you!
