Myrna Elaine Hester 9/25/1945 – 8/16/2022
Myrna Hester passed from this life into Glory on Tuesday, August 16. Her final days were spent at The Feathered Nest care home under compassionate, quality care. Myrna spent her working years as an administrative assistant, first in engineering and later with the Oregon Department of Human Resources. She loved camping, fishing and traveling and often marveled at God’s creation as she took in the splendor of His natural wonders.
Myrna loved being around family and is survived by her husband Tom, son Michael, daughter Cyndi, son Chad, brother Jay, and sisters Carol and Darlene and all of their spouses, many grandchildren, a few great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and several in-laws. She also loved her church family at Beautiful Savior Lutheran in Happy Valley Oregon. Going to church was one of her favorite activities. Through many trials and tribulations her faith never waivered.
