Miriam Elizabeth Fien, 83, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on January 23rd, 2020. She had an untreatable lung condition, that suddenly got worse not allowing her body to get oxygen. After a wonderful Christ Read Obituary

Miriam was a guest at the hotel I managed in Kent for many years prior to her retirement from Mohawk. We would always chat when she visited and often eat dinner together. She was a kind, angel of a woman. And so funny! I was happy to reconnect with her on Facebook years later. She will be truly missed. A wonderful woman.
Miriam was first a loving gentle funny lady whom it was my pleasure to work with for many years. She gently guided me through customer service training and made me better at my job. I felt I knew her forever and loved meeting her in person. My heart goes out to your family. From one of the Mohawk Family to the Fien family prayers and hugs to you all. Miriam - I didn't get to know you too well as I was new at Mohawk and loved my job until they closed. I was only there 4 years but you left a lasting impression on me! You were always fun to talk to on the phone and were always happy, laughing and smiling (you could see it through the phone) You felt like my grandma. You truly left the world a better place and I feel blessed to have known you. Keep smiling my friend.
