Mary Margaret Seeley Oct. 2, 1924 - Oct. 27, 2021Mary was born in Maxwell, Nebraska Oct, 2, 1924 to Sidney and Blanche Tibbetts. She was the youngest and last surviving of five children.Mary attended and graduated from Maxwell High School in 1942 and there were nine in her graduating class.In 1945 she married Clarence 'Ben' Seeley. They moved to Oregon in 1946 and eventually settled in Milwaukie. They resided there until Ben's death in 2007.Mary was a secretary, first at Marshall-Wells Hardware, then Coast-to-Coast before retiring in 1984. Ben and Mary loved spending time on the Oregon and Washington coast. They enjoyed fishing and also hunting in central Oregon and Alaska. They took up golf in retirement, golfing mostly at Oregon City Golf Club. They loved traveling and visited many countries. An extended freighter trip was truly a highlight. Mary moved to Town Center Village in Happy Valley, now known as The Forum. She lived there 13 years, moving to Salem in 2020 to be closer to family.Mary is survived by nieces and nephews in Oregon, Idaho, Minnesota and Nebraska. She will always be remembered in our hearts and laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City.
