Mary Louise Ruminski's Obituary
November 4, 1931 to March 4, 2026 –
Mary Louise Serres Ruminski of Lake Oswego died March 4, 2026, at the age of 94. Mary was born on November 4, 1931, in Oregon City. She was the eldest of 6 children. She attended St. John the Apostle Catholic Grade School and graduated from Oregon City High School in 1949. In 1953, Mary graduated from Providence Hospital School of Nursing. On August 16, 1954, Mary married Bruce Ruminski at St. John’s Catholic Church in Oregon City. Bruce preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include her 4 daughters, Diane Kelly (Brian), Sharon Madden (Paul), Carolyn Reece (Jeff), and Leslie Ruminski (Ryan McKay). She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mary was very grateful that, with assistance of her daughters, she was able to live her final days in the home where she and Bruce raised their 4 daughters and held so many happy memories. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 20th, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Oregon City, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parish.
