Mary Alice (Cooper)Buttolph JonesMay 28, 1931- March 3, 2015Mary passed on March 2015 at the age of 83 after open heart surgery. Funeral service were held Saturday March 7, 2015 at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City, through Holman-Hankins-Bowker and Waud. Mary was born in Omaha, NE. Her parents Levi and Elinor Cooper and siblings Patricia, Richard and Sally moved to Oregon in 1936. Mary attended Oregon City Schools, becoming a majorette in high school. She graduated in 1950.She married Lloyd Buttolph and they had 3 children. Glenn (deceased), Deborah Heriard (Texas), Becky Colby(Portland). They divorced after 26 years. She married Donald Jones, they were married for 25 years, until his passing in 2002. Mary had 3 stepdaughters, Terja, Pirjo and Maureen (deceased)Mary had 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Sons in law David Heriard and Dirk Schulbach.Mary's surviving sisters are Patricia Womack(Oregon City), Sally Burgoyne (Portland), Linda Howland (Clackamas) and one brother Ronald Cooper (Oregon City)Mary had a fun loving spirit, and was a Master Cake Decorator. She decorated cakes for 17 years for Albertsons. She provided beautiful cakes for her entire family for all special occasions. She was always young at heart; she will now eternally be young in spirit.
