It was an honor to have Jeanne as a friend. She was a bright, lively, beautiful woman. I was lucky to have her in my life. Last year about this time Jeanne, another friend Grace and I went to Hood River (orchards abound) for fruit and a beautiful drive. We stopped at wineries, lots of produce stops, and a wonderful little place for tea and coffee. It was a wonderful day with lots of laughs and a serenity that comes from such wonderful, caring friends, Thank you Jeanne. I did not get to spend time with her the last few months of her life, as her family kept her isolated from her friends. But she will always be in my heart. She made you glad to be you. Thank you. again, Jeanne. We will miss you!
