Leslie Lytsell

died June 11, 2023 Oregon City Or
Our beloved partner, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and pop-pop died peacefully in his sleep sometime in the night of June 11th. A man of many talents he did everything 110% (some would call it obsession ! ) He ran a successful construction business for many years until his health forced him to retire. He then studied for and got his Home Inspectors Lisc but never had the chance to use it.
Les loved salmon fishing, building hot rods, going to car shows, listening to hard rock music and spending time with family and friends. He was willing to help anyone at anytime unconditionally.
Les was preceded in death by his father Clifford Lytsell, mother Viola Faye Hall, stepmother Judy Lytsell, sister Glenda Dykeman and brother Richard Lytsell. He is survived by his partner of 28 years Michelle Measelle, son David Sopke, daughter Leslie Long, son Jason Lytsell, stepdaughter Lisa Boyd, brother Don Lytsell, sister Lisa Lytsell and half-sister Doris Cushman, as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 nephews.
A grateful member of N.A. for many years he was an inspiration for many in recovery, serving on the board of Morningstar to help run clean and sober houses. His experience, strength and hope will be carried on and he will be mourned and missed by all who knew and loved him. Gone but not forgotten.
