Terri Hammond
Where to even begin; I am at church frequently and had many many conversations with LaVonne through her years as administrative assistant. She was so much more. She always had a smile and was upbeat. She would listen to whatever I felt like sharing & she was interested. She shared stories herself. She was helpful, she would do whatever she could to get information or anything I needed. I counted on her more than I realized. She was a friend who knew and remembered my family, always there to offer greetings when she would see them. She had a gift of remembering everyone. She loved kids. She called my mother in law “mom” when we brought her to church, always greeting her to make her feel welcome. She and Eileen came to our granddaughter’s wedding in August of last year in LaGrande. Our family will always be thankful for that special time. LaVonne I miss you so much, thank you for everything! You were special and I hope you felt the love we have for you.
