Kevin Mark Horace's Obituary
Kevin Horace
July 15, 1955 – October 11, 2025
Kevin Horace entered eternal rest on October 11, 2025, at home in Beavercreek, Oregon, surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1955, in Spokane, Washington, to Raymond and Billie Gene Horace, Kevin lived a life rooted in faith, simplicity, and devotion to those he loved most.
He shared 40 years of marriage with his wife, Ann, and together they built a life centered on quiet faith and steady strength. A humble man at heart, Kevin found peace in simple things — the mountains, the trees, the rivers. He loved hunting, time spent with family, and the satisfaction of an honest day’s work and a day well spent.
He taught us that a good life isn’t measured in possessions or praise, but in faith, humility, and love. May we carry his example forward — to live simply, love deeply, and trust God’s plan, just as he did.
He is remembered by his wife, Ann; their children and spouses, Stephanie and Dustin Laur, Becky Jean and Steve Mesmer, and Peter and April Horace; and his beloved grandchildren, Sebastian, Nico, and Vivian Grace. He is also survived by his sisters, Cotty Levak and Janet Ell, his brother, John Horace and a large extended family and dear friends who will carry his memory with love.
He was welcomed into eternal life by his parents, his sisters, Jeanne Ann and Carol Ann, and all beloved family members who went before him.
A Rosary will be prayed at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Monday, November 10, 2025, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Redland, Oregon. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
