Kathy Laree Spenner
June 30, 1953 - January 12, 2024
Kathy passed away at her home surrounded by family on January 12, 2024 at the age of 70.
She was born to Fred and Dottie Walters on June 30, 1953 and raised in Gladstone, Oregon. Kathy spent the majority of her professional career as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Griffith (20 yrs) and Rob Mcdowell (10 yrs) where she made many lasting friends.
Kathy had a big heart and was fiercely loyal to her family, friends and pets; Ode, Newman, Mattie, Lucy and finally Ellie. Kathy remained friends with many high school classmates and enjoyed hosting parties and Bunco nights. She enjoyed camping, gardening, photography and caught some prize fish in her time. Later, she enjoyed traveling in her motorhome to the beaches and rivers she loved. Her unique ways will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Kathy is survived by her husband Ken Spenner, daughters Jaime Johnson, Megan Freauff, stepdaughter Danielle Stein and grandchildren; Kadin, Macenzie, Vantson and Addison.
Kathy is preceded in death by brothers; Joe Walters, Mike Walters, Riley Walters and Johnny Walters, and sisters; Alma Degler, Mert Seeger, Bonnie Dame and Maxine Chamberlin.
A celebration to honor Kathy’s life will be held on February 3, 2024 from 2-5 pm at Three Rivers VFH Hall. 104 Tumwater Dr. Oregon City.
