She loved her William Elijah.
I knew this might be the last time I'd see her. I was correct. She wasn't sure I was who I said I was. She'll know for sure next time we meet. She's whole now. She's more real now in her Savior's presence.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Do you know you'd be meeting Jesus if today was your day? She'd want you to be sure. I want you to be sure. Reach out if you do.
“Mom” is the only thing I ever called her, because that’s exactly who she was to me in every way that mattered. I loved snuggling with her, laughing with her, and singing to her. Those are some of the memories I will always treasure.
I already miss her more than words can express. While I rejoice in knowing she is no longer suffering and is now with Jesus, it doesn’t fill the hole she has left in my heart. I look forward to the day I get to see her again in heaven. Until then, I will carry her love with me always.
