Jordan Robert Anderson's Obituary
Jordan Robert Anderson was born in Portland, Oregon at Saint Vincent Hospital on March 19, 1992, to Robert (Bob) and Shauna Anderson.
Jordan is survived by his parents, daughters Bayleigh (9) and Isabelle (7), his paternal grandmother, Dawn Polly St. Clair, siblings and their spouses, Andrew (Stacy) Anderson, Ryan (Liz) Anderson, Kristen (Kevin) Ball, Sarah (Josh) Reeves, and Emily (Joey) Anderson. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews including Autumn, Kaedon, Tailyn, Ryen Elizabeth, Madyson, Breann, Sienna, Sydney, Sonora, Jackson, Reagan, Cecilia, and Sawyer.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale Arthur Anderson, Edgar Emil Strandholm, and Joan Louise Strandholm.
Jordan graduated from Oregon City High School where he was active in soccer and lacrosse and part of the carpentry group. He was honored by the Oregon City mayor as part of the team that built the covered recreation and dining area at Wesley Lynn Park. He was involved in church at various points throughout his life including Three Rivers Church (West Linn), Mountain View Community Church (Oregon City), and more recently, Rose Church (Portland). An electrical apprentice with IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), Jordan loved working with his hands and helping others wherever he was able.
Known for his contagious smile and devoted caring heart, Jordan will forever be remembered by his unparalleled love and commitment to his beautiful daughters, his crazy and loving family, and his deep friendships. Jordan showed up whenever he was needed and helped anyone who asked. Jordan loved to travel, explore the outdoors, and was always active.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Jordan’s honor on Friday, January 27, at 1:00pm at Rose Church in Portland, Oregon. His daughters have asked that everyone wear their favorite blue in their dad’s honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations and gifts be made to his two daughters. All gifts can be given to Shauna Anderson on their behalf.
