He shared his musical gift throughout his life, playing for the Grant High Vocal Ensemble, at his church and for special events, family get togethers, and was always working on new music. He had a great curiosity about all things, a fun but also deep and reflective side and he loved Jesus. He was gentle, kind and open hearted. John was proceeded in death by his parents and survived by his loving wife, Kumiko, his daughter Jennifer, her husband Mark, his two grandsons Hudson and Jonah, and siblings. He will be greatly missed. A private ceremony was held at the Reformation Covenant Church in Oregon City on December 23, 2021.
